Call for nominations for RIHS Awards 2016

Since the first RIHS Cocktails & Awards last year was very successful, RIHS will continue this tradition!

On Wednesday 21 June (16:00 - 17:00 hours), just prior to the Midsummernight event for all Radboudumc PhD candidates and Postdocs, the RIHS awardees will accept their award during the second RIHS Cocktails & Awards.

RIHS researchers may submit max. 1 nomination for each award. Deadline for submission for the RIHS Science and RIHS Societal Impact Awards is 14 April 2017. Please submit your nominations to RIHS@radboudumc.nl.

Three separate committees, each consisting of three RIHS (junior)PIs will review the nominations.

All nominees are asked to prepare a 2 minutes elevator pitch (without slides) about their thesis/product/paper. During the RIHS Cocktails & Awards the three winners in each category will be asked to pitch.

The award winners will receive €750. The second and third prize winners will receive €500 and €250, respectively. The prize money should be spent on work-related matters (e.g., BBQ for the research group, course, travel grant, congress fee). RIHS will reimburse the expenses.
