Alessandra Cambi in Dutch Society of Cell Biology board

Recently, Alessandra Cambi, Dept. of Tumor Immunology, theme Cancer development and immune defence became the fourth board member of the Dutch Society of Cell Biology (DSCB).

The DSCB, founded in 1965, promotes the advance of research in all branches of cell biology and encourages the interchange of information. The Society organizes and supports meetings and conferences relevant to cell biology and is run by a committee of unpaid volunteers. Cambi joins the other three board members: Joop van Zoelen (RU), Jaap van Buul (Sanquin, Amsterdam) and John Collard (NKI, Amsterdam). The DSCB organizes a yearly meeting that is traditionally held at the Trippenhuis (Amsterdam). This year the meeting entitled "Building and Repairing Tissues" will be held on October 30th (see www.dutch-society-cell-biology.nl for more information and for registration).
