On Thursday 28th January 2016, we welcomed Prof. Massimo Zeviani, Director Mitochondrial Biology Unit, Cambridge, United Kingdom for a seminar in the Radboud Research Rounds (RRR) Plus series.
His presentation highlighted the emerging pivotal role that mitochondria play in neurodegenerative disorders, such as Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease. The RRR Plus ended with a college tour-format, where students had the opportunity to discuss with Massimo Zeviani about everything from research to relaxation.
During the drinks the audience had the opportunity to continue informal discussions with Prof. Massimo Zeviani.
The next RRR Plus will be Thursday 11th of February, Prof. Paul Welling.
