A consortium consisting of CitiusBio BV, DKMS BV and the Dept. of Surgery Radboud University medical center, Harry van Goor, theme Recontructive and regenerative medicine was recently awarded with a grant of € 1,203,407 by the European Fund for Regional Development (EFRO 2014-2020 East Netherlands) for their project ‘CONNECT’, for development of a point of care platform for use in the operative room and at the patient ward.
The consortium will focus on development and validation of rapid measurement of hormones and biomarkers for heart disease by a compact point of care device using cartridge technology. This universal point of care device will improve quality and efficiency of patient care.
