Radboud New Frontiers in Cancer Research 2016, Nov 24-25
<< back to overview news items
Starting from 2016 the Radboud Institute for Health Sciences (RIHS) and the Radboud Institute for Molecular Life Sciences (RIMLS) will alternately organise the international 'Radboud New Frontiers' congress across one of the thematic areas of the Radboudumc with the intention of exploring the newest scientific research and pioneering developments.
Previous 'Radboud New Frontiers' events, organised by RIMLS, have been highly successful with fruitful discussions on the latest developments in the chosen field in front of a large international audience. Several Nobel prize winners gave keynote lectures in recent years. We aim to continue this trend in organising a top congress of interest to clinical and non-clinical scientists of all levels, from Masters' students and PhD candidates to post-doctoral researchers, and senior professors.
The subject of this 10th edition of the two-day symposium is cancer. Sessions will focus on the future of cancer imaging, on cancer immunology, on ‘treating the mutation, the cancer or the patient’, on prevention and patient participation and on durability of the healthcare system. Each session of the program will be of interest to both molecular life scientists and health scientists as well as to clinicians with a focus on patient care instead of research. A large panel of internationally renowned scientists that have contributed significantly to these topics will give keynote lectures.
If you are interested in (the future of) cancer you should be there ! So mark your calendar: November 24-25, 2016 and register as an early bird.
