On 30th September, a Symposium on integrated palliative care took place in Brussels, organized by the European Association of Palliative Care together with the European InsupC project. Approximately 88 people attended from more than 12 countries.
Jeroen Hasselaar (projectleader) gave an overview of the FP7 InsupC project, and the results that have been achieved in reviewing guidelines, in building a taxonomy, in undertaking multiple embedded case studies, and a forthcoming massive online open course (MOOC) with already more than 4,500 registered participants.
His talk finished by launching a free book on ‘integrated palliative care’ edited by Jeroen Hasselaar and Sheila Payne.
Both the MOOC and the book can be found at the project website.
