Apply for pitches and awards for PhD research on gastrointestinal tumors 2017.
Six PhD candidates or early stage Postdocs will have the opportunity to showcase the societal impact of their PhD research during the Radboud Research Round on 1 June (16.00-17.30u)
The Radboud Research Round is hosted by the theme Tumors of the digestive tract and will be about the societal impact of research in this field. The topic will be presented from research and patient perspective.
Eligibility: All research articles published (print or epub) in 2016 by PhD candidates (at time of publication) in the Theme of Tumors of the digestive tract are eligible.
Application: To be considered for the societal impact pitches and award, the applicant should submit the article accompanied with a explanation on the societal impact of the research (max. 200 words) to email@example.com. The deadline for application is 30 April.
Selection and awards: Applicants will receive the results of the selection at least 2 week prior to the Radboud Research Round. Six PhD students will be selected to give a short pitch about their research during the RRR. Based on these pitches, the committee of peers and patient representatives will award three prices (€150, €100, €50).
