The annual Scientific Fall Symposium of the Dutch federation of Nephrology (NfN)  will be organized this year on Friday 13 October 2017 in Postillion Hotel Utrecht Bunnik in Bunnik ( ~10.00 to ~17.00 hours).

The NfN Scientific Fall Symposium covers all aspects of experimental, clinical and epidemiological research in the field of Nephrology. At the same location the yearly “Science day” for renal patients and others interested will be organized by the “Nierpatiënten Vereniging Nederland” (NVN), NierNieuws.nl, the Dutch Kidney Foundation and the NfN. After the NfN Scientific Fall Symposium there will be a joint closing session with participants of the “Science day”, in which the prizewinners of the NfN Scientific Fall Symposium will be honored.

The Scientific Board of the Dutch federation of Nephrology cordially invites scientists to submit abstracts for the Fall Symposium by sending an E-mail with a Word file attached to: najaarsvergadering2017@gmail.com

Also this year several great prizes will be awarded to young investigators presenting their work (PhD students or junior post-docs). The first, second and third prizes awarded for the oral presentations will be 500, 250 and 100 EURO, respectively. In addition a prize of 100 EURO will be awarded for the best poster presentation.

It may be efficient to consider the abstracts recently submitted for the 2017 ASN renal meeting also for the 2017 Scientific Fall Symposium.  An oral or poster at the NfN Scientific Fall Symposium could be a good training for the ASN.
